The best time to visit Dunedin is April
In summer, the average maximum temperature is around 16℃ (60℉), but temperatures can sometimes reach as high as 18℃ (64℉) on the hottest days of the year. In the winter, temperatures can get down to 5℃ (41℉) around July.
If you’re a sun-chaser and want to visit Dunedin when the days are longest, you should visit in December. On average it rains the most days in February, making it the wettest month of the year.
