The warmest month of the year in Sydney, Australia is January, where the average maximum temperature gets to around 27℃ (80℉), but temperatures can sometimes reach as high as 28℃ (83℉) on the hottest days of summer. The weather at night in the winter, which is around July-time, can get down to a minimum of 9℃ (48℉) in Sydney.
