Our verdict
The best time to visit The Canary Islands is March-May
It gets pretty hot in the middle of summer (between July and early-September) – temperatures in The Canary Islands can rise to a maximum of 24℃ (75℉). The average low temperatures in the winter months (November-March) float around 16℃ (62℉). This makes it an amazing place to be in the winter months, but this is also the most popular season for European tourists trying to escape the winter chill.
The longest days between sunrise and sunset in The Canary Islands are usually in August, so if you want to get the most out of your daytime activities, be sure to plan your visit around this time. November sees the most amount of rain in a month if you’re ok with chancing getting drenched, so if you’re looking to stay dry, visit in June instead.
