Our verdict

The best time to visit Dhaka is March

Dhaka is a place lots of people visit almost all year round, but if you’re looking for the best time to go, March is definitely the time you should visit. This is based on a number of factors such as the weather, cost of flights and accommodation, peak travel periods and more.

In summer, temperatures can reach as high as 39℃ (102℉) in the middle of the day. The average low temperatures in winter float around 15℃ (60℉), while the coldest it gets down to is about 13℃ (56℉).

If you’re a sun-chaser and want to visit Dhaka when the days are longest, you should visit in April. May sees the most amount of rain in a month if you’re ok with chancing getting drenched, so if you’re looking to stay dry, visit in January instead.
