Best time to visit Seoul, South Korea

Our verdict

The best time to visit Seoul is April-June

Seoul is a place lots of people visit almost all year round, but if you’re looking for the best time to go, April-June is definitely the time you should visit. This is based on a number of factors such as the weather, cost of flights and accommodation, peak travel periods and more.

In the height of summer, temperatures in Seoul can reach a maximum of 33℃ (92℉). In the colder months such as January, temperatures usually get down to an average minimum of -6℃ (21℉).

If you’re a sun-chaser and want to visit Seoul when the days are longest, you should visit in June. July sees the most amount of rain in a month if you’re ok with chancing getting drenched, so if you’re looking to stay dry, visit in January instead.
